The Mary Garden, sponsored by the CWL is now complete! Mary Gardens are
centered around a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary, highlighting her role as
mother of the Saviour and Queen of Heaven. Flowers are planted to honor our
Blessed Mother and symbolize her virtuous life. Each flower has a special
Meaning. Reflecting on the flowers can help us meditate on the life of Christ
through Mary.

Many thanks to the CWL, Francois Hebert & Wayne Holzinger (members of our
Building & Maintenance Committee) for completing the project.

The Blessing of our Mary Garden

St. Francis Xavier CWL Council in Camrose AB gathered for the Blessing of our Mary Garden on September 1, 2020.  The garden began in the year 2000 as a Millennium project.  In 2019 we moved to our new church and were unable to establish the garden until later this summer.  We look forward to Spring 2021 and planting our garden again to honour Mary, our Blessed Mother.
